a song in the 60's with the lyrics of A little old lady by the churchyard gates?

my mother used to sing this to us in the dark with a roaring fire and
these are the only lyrics I can remember ooo, oo, ooo, oo, after the
little old lady at (or by) the churchyard gate, making it sound eerie.
can anybody help.
